My illustration of a Mangal in honour of Ganpati from Naveen Panth Prakash, by Giani Gyan Singh.
The manifest of prosperity, seated in his dream-world.
Acrylics and oils on masonite (11” x 14”)
Gurmukhi text, with translations by Jvala Singh (www.manglacharan.com):
The very form of Ganesh Ji itself brings bliss, just like the moon independently glows so bright.
Women, men, divine beings all salute Him, who knows the extent of all the whole world, in all four directions.
He completes all the desires from all his devotees, and destroys any obstacles in their way.
That Ganesh Ji, I keep within my heart, who will bring me great happiness in my work.

ਉੱਦਮ, in Punjabi, means perseverance, and the lotus is saying the same thing.
